At the young age of five Gabby began competitive gymnastics. When her family and her moved to Canada she continued training as a competitive gymnast. Her love for gymnastics grew more each year. She quickly began training more hours a week and competing in competitions all over British Columbia. Gabby’s gymnastics background made the transition into competitive dance an easy step. Gabby’s dance education includes; Jazz, Acro, Ballet, Modern, Hip-hop, and Lyrical. Gabby participated in several dance competitions were she exceeded expectations and as result she was offered the job as an Acro dance teacher at Abbotsford Dance Center. Gabby has done commercial work as a child as well as in 2004 Gabby worked as an actress for the movie Dog Training a Guide to Lasting Relationships by Lamppost Productions. In 2007 Gabby danced at the Children’s Variety Show. Other performances include the 2009 Vancouver Children’s Festival and Run for the Cure.  In 2008 Gabby received the “Outstanding Senior” award. Gabby’s experience as a performer is varied and continues to grow. Recently, Gabby graduated from Simon Fraser University where she majored in Psychology and minored in Human development and counselling. Other Athletic experiences include participating in her high school dance team, soccer, and basketball.

In 2007 Gabby began teaching gymnastics at Twisters gymnastics in Abbotsford. Gabby remained with Twisters for five years, where she taught both recreational and competitive gymnastics. Teaching alongside Twister’s competitive coaches helped Gabby to grow as a coach. Now, Gabby is working at Club Aviva Gymnastics were she teaches pre-competitive gymnasts. Gabby is a level 2 certified gymnastics coach and a level 1 trampoline coach. She has also completed her Acrobatique Junior level and is currently working on the Acrobatique Intermediate level.  She has completed her Respect in Sport and her Making Ethical Decision courses.

Gabby believes in being a positive role model to all her students. She loves teaching and aspires to pass on her love for gymnastics and dance to everyone that she teaches. She also has private classes with her students were she can work one on one to improve their skills.
